What our clients have to say

We had the pleasure of working with Daniel on two projects at our campuses at Smith Crossing and Smith Village. Daniel instilled peace of mind through his knowledge, focus, and organization into the projects that was instrumental for Smith Senior Living to achieve our dreams. His attention to detail during master planning, design and construction, and an arduous value management exercise helped us maintain our vision and meet our objective. We are grateful for his expertise and firm but friendly demeanor….”

KEVIN MCGEEPresident and Chief Executive Officer, Smith Senior Living

I have worked with Daniel Collins for over 15 years on many different award-winning projects. These are large multi-year, multi-discipline projects and no one “herds the cats” better and keeps the project moving better than Daniel. In my opinion, he would be an incredible asset to any project endeavor.

BRUCE HUROWITZPrincipal, Merlino Design Partnership

The design, development and completion of The Vista represented a major paradigm shift for Christian Health. Its community impact, scope of services, and strategic importance enabled this organization to move to a higher and greater level of operational significance. I am so thankful for the key role that Daniel Collins played in guiding The Vista project toward a very successful completion. Through many opportunities and challenges along the way – intense land use approval processes in two (2) communities, integration of planned operations within a mature provider’s offerings, and navigation through the COVID-19 pandemic during construction of this $75 million, 400,000 square foot project – Daniel was a trusted partner and source of priceless advice. The extended project team included many seasoned firms, professionals and personalities that brought tremendous benefits to the design, development and construction of this project. Daniel was extremely adept at harnessing the full resources of this team while managing them efficiently and effectively to protect and achieve Christian Health’s desired outcome. I was regularly grateful that Daniel would tell me what I needed to hear – a sometimes rare and undervalued quality in an external advisor. We quickly developed a close working relationship that, alongside other key partners, produced a project outcome that fulfilled and exceeded expectations. As this organization continues to grow and develop, Daniel Collins will remain a trusted leadership resource that we will utilize to guide and fulfill our mission and vision. His knowledge, passion and commitment to excellence enable his expertise and wisdom to deliver outstanding results.

DOUGLAS STRUYKChief Executive Officer, Christian Health

Over the course of working with Daniel for more than a decade, I have appreciated the value he brings to our clients not only through his knowledge of the development process and cost control strategies, but also his respect for quality of design to achieve the best end result. He advocates a collaborative, cooperative approach with open communications between all team members and the owner for a successful process and a positive experience.
