In 2017, Smith Crossing, led by Daniel Collins and Eventus, underwent a strategic planning and master planning process that explored the potential to add a new Rehabilitation Center to its campus along with other resident focused improvements to the existing campus.
The effort resulted in a new addition to the campus that housed 46 single occupancy rehabilitation rooms and amenities and a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, Greenleaf Rehab. The Facility was designed as a resident focused, neighborhood model with a hospitality focus. The building has received many accolades and is the jewel of the campus.
