Texan 26

Austin, TX

The Texan 26 Project was developed by a private developer that specializes in off campus student housing.

The Project

The high demand for luxury student housing accessible to the University of Texas campus in Austin Texas drove this urban infill project. The development featured 5 stories of wood framed construction on top of a concrete plinth that had 4 stories of parking at and below grade. The apartments are beautifully appointed inside with luxury vinyl plank flooring, stone countertops, high quality appliances and in suite laundries. There are multiple size apartments from one to seven bedrooms. The project was completed on time, on budget,  and it filled up that fall semester without vacancies.

Daniel Collins, with Aegis, represented the investor during the final phases of design and through construction. The assignment included monitoring the progress, schedule and financials of the project as well as overseeing the tasks of the developer, general contractor, architect and engineers.
